旺文社の『レクシス英和辞典』ISBN:4010751312 は virus の項に第4の語義として「（コンピューター）ウイルス」を挙げ、さらにこれとは別に第5の語義として「多数の携帯電話に多数の迷惑メールを送信するプログラム」というのを示している。最近ではそういうのもウイルスというのか、ふーん、てなもんだけど、これには出典があるようだ。
