Far away from the beautiful lawns of New Delhi lies West Delhi's Swaran Park Industrial Area.

Beneath mayor's fanfare lies a sound framework (Los Angeles Times, January 22, 2007)

If this sounds fishy to you, it should, and therein lies the novel's only major flaw. (http://www.powells.com/review/2006_09_22 Washington Post Book World)
underneath the apparent radicalism of Houellebecq's jazzy forms ... lies a nice, solid, cozy old box spring (http://www.powells.com/review/2006_09_14 The New Republic Online)

This is my first visit to Jerusalem, the city known for its rich history where lies the holy sites for Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. (Koizumi Cabinet E-mail Magazine No. 242 July 13, 2006)
It may well be that this is where lies the secret to the rule of the Ottoman Turks who continued to maintain one of world's great empire for over 400 years. (Koizumi Cabinet E-mail Magazine No. 228 March 30, 2006)
